In light of the growth of locally based nutrition research programs, we are delighted to host our first conference emphasizing evidence-based nutrition research. The goal of the conference is to encourage and foster communication and networking among academics, clinicians, students, and representatives of the nutrition-related industry regarding research protocols, outcomes, and expertise in the field of nutrition and dietetics.We intend to establish this series of scientific meetings to serve as a platform to enhance the level of nutrition research and practice through multiple workshops
